Crewe is a town in Cheshire, England, that is both a railroad hub and a civil parish under the jurisdiction of Cheshire East. In the year 2021, there were 55,318 people living in the Crewe civil parish. In 2021, there were 76,437 people living in the greater Crewe urban area, which includes parts of the neighboring civil parishes of Willaston, Shavington cum Gresty, and Wistaston.

Perhaps most notably, Crewe is home to Crewe Works, a now-much-reduced-in-size but historically significant railway engineering facility known for its work on locomotives. Rolls-Royce automobile production took place there from 1946 to 2002. Bentley automobiles are now manufactured solely at the Pyms Lane plant in the western part of town. Located 158 miles (254 kilometers) from London, Crewe is also 28 miles (45 kilometers) from the heart of Manchester and 31 miles (50 kilometers) from the heart of Liverpool.
