Wishaw
Located in the northwest corner of Warwickshire, England, Wishaw is both a village and a civil parish. According to the census of 2011, there were 125 people living in the civil parish. North Warwickshire is the location of the four-time Ryder Cup host, The Belfry golf resort. There are a few notable structures in the village as well. Moxhull Park, the early twentieth-century magnificent home of the Ryland (formerly Halket) family, stood where The Belfry is now. Moxhull Hall, the former manor home, may now be found on Holly Lane, a distance of one mile from its original location. There is a chapel honoring Saint Chad the native in Wishaw. Despite the low population, the church sees a steady stream of weddings and Sunday attendees.
Wishaw Country Sports, a multifaceted facility offering events including shooting, blindfold driving, and tractor driving, is also located in Wishaw. A former barn on the property has been renovated into a high-end reception hall where special occasions like weddings and parties can be held. Wishaw may be found in the West Midlands, England, a mile north of the village of Curdworth and three miles east of the city of Sutton Coldfield. In 2003, a group of local residents blamed a mobile phone mast located in the heart of their community for an unusually high rate of cancer. After the mast was destroyed in November 2003 by unknown vandals, operator T-Mobile decided not to repair it.
