Kirkcaldy is a town located in Fife, Scotland. It is the largest town in the region and is situated on the east coast of Scotland, around 30 miles north of Edinburgh. Kirkcaldy has a long history, dating back to the 11th century when it was a small settlement known as Kirk of the Caldys. It became an important trading town in the 17th century, with a thriving linen and coal industry.
